Tables in Microsoft Word can be extracted and moved throughout the same document or into a new document with just a few clicks. With a table in a new location, you may need to extend the row height to reveal more data or to make the spacing more aesthetically pleasing.

2Click on the table move icon to select the entire table.
3Choose "Copy" from the "Edit" menu.
4Choose "New" from the "File" menu to create a new document. Choose "Open" from the "File" menu if the document you want to paste the table into already exists.
5Click where you want the table to appear in the second document.
6Choose "Paste" from the "Edit" menu.
7Right click on the table.
8Choose "Table Properties."
9Select the "Row" tab.
10Check the "Specify Row Height" box.
11Enter a row height that is approximately one line higher than your original row.
